What do I need to do if I have a warranty claim?
For domestic claims, please contact your dealer, who will repair the damage and settle the payment directly with CarGarantie. This means that you will receive helpful, straightforward assistance. And if your dealer is not right in your area, simply file the damage claim via the CarGarantie 24-hour helpline. The repairs can then be carried out at any repair shop authorised for the brand of vehicle you drive – anywhere in Europe.
I have misplaced my warranty conditions and contract. Can you send me a replacement copy?
Please contact the dealership that originally sold you the contract. They can print off and give you a replacement copy of the documents.
My warranty is about to expire. Can I extend it and how much will that cost?
The dealership that originally sold you the warranty will be happy to advise you on the possibilities of extending the warranty and the costs involved.
My warranty is about to expire. Do I need to terminate it?
No, the warranty ends automatically on the agreed day of expiry.
My address has changed. How do I notify you of the new address?

Can I have a non-authorised repair shop carry out maintenance work?
Yes, you can. However, you may risk losing your warranty claim as you will be required to provide proof that non-performed or improperly performed maintenance work was not the cause of any damage that might occur at some point.
Is my warranty valid abroad?
Yes, your warranty is valid throughout Europe.
